Today, 91 years ago, to be exact on October 28, 1928, the Youth Congress took place and became the day of the Youth Pledge. This congress is proof that the struggle of youth in seeking independence had taken place prior to the Proclamation of Independence on August 17, 1945. The initial moments that marked the movement of young people were the emergence of various organizations formed by young people. Indonesian Association until Tri Koro Darmo One of them is the Indonesian Association which was formed in 1908. This organization is still limited to the association of Indian students studying in the Netherlands. After the students returned to the country, they also played an important role in Indonesia's independence. These young men began to realize the common goal and reduce disunity due to differences in ethnicity and religion. Some prominent figures are known to have been members, such as Tjipto Mangoenkoesoemo and Soewardi Soerjaningrat (Ki Hajar Dewantara) in 1913. Then, another youth organization that was born was Tri Koro Darmo. This association was founded by someone named Satiman who became the motor of the youth movement. As the name implies, this organization has three objectives namely magic, evidence, and devotion. Those who are members of Tri Koro Darmo want a change from the perspective of youth and the conditions that occurred in the archipelago at that time. However, due to pressure from various parties, the name of the organization finally changed to Jong Java. In Jong Java, all young people from Java, Madura, Bali, to Lombok can join this movement.
