Abstract

The economy of Central Java based on the value of the ADHB GRDP in Quarter I-2020 reached IDR 342,222.73 billion, and ADHK 2010 reached IDR 246,457.64 billion.

The economy of Central Java in Quarter I-2020 grew by 2.60 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, growth was driven by almost all business fields, except for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The highest growth was achieved by the Information and Communication Business Field at 11.27 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Household Consumption Expenditure Component which grew by 3.46 percent.

The performance of the Central Java Economy in Quarter I-2020 (q-to-q) experienced a contraction of 0.90 percent compared to Quarter IV-2019, the largest contraction was recorded by the Government Administration, Defense and Social Security Business Field. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, positive growth only occurred in the Household Consumption Component.
