In 2020, rice harvest area estimated amounting to 1,684.75 thousand hectares with production of 9.59 million tonnes of GKG

In 2022 in Central Java Province 2022 (Temporary Figures) the area of rice harvest is estimated at 1.699 million hectares with a production of around 9.58 million tons of GKG; If converted into rice, it is estimated at 5.51 million tons.

In January 2025, paddy harvested area is 0.42 million hectares producing an estimated 2.16 million tons of dry unhusked paddy (GKG). The estimated rice production for food consumption is 1.24 million

In 2021, the rice harvested area will reach around 1.70 million hectares with a production of 9.62 million tons of GKG.

In 2024, paddy harvested area is estimated to reach 10.05 million hectares producing 52.66 million tons of dry unhusked paddy (GKG).

The rice harvest area in Central Java in 2023 will reach around 1.64 million hectares, down by 0.05 million hectares or 2.72 percent compared to 2022 which was 1.69 million hectares
