Exports of goods and services from Karanganyar Regency experienced the deepest contraction of 12.40 percent

The Karanganyar economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at the current 2020 price reached IDR 37.0744 trillion rupiah and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 26.142 trillion rupiah.

Karanganyar Economic Growth in 2020 against 2019 (y-on-y) contracted by 1.87 percent. The components of export expenditure for goods and services that contracted the most reached -12.40 percent.

The Karanganyar economic structure in 2020 in terms of expenditure components is still dominated by the household consumption expenditure component (PK-RT) which has a share of 68.91 percent. Meanwhile, the consumption expenditure component of the non-profit institution serving households (PK-LNPRT) had the least contribution, which only gave a share of 1.32 percent.
