The economy of Central Java in Quarter I-2021 is still experienced a contraction of -0.87 percent (y on y)

Central Java economy in the first quarter of 2021 based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on the current price (ADHB) reached Rp345,614.94 billion and on the basis of constant prices (ADHK) 2010 reachedRp244,406.10 billion.

The economy of Central Java in Quarter I-2021 is still experienced a contraction of -0.87 percent (y on y), will but the condition is better than the second quarter of the year 2020 which contracted deeper in the range -3 to -5 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the contraction occurred at 11 field of business with the deepest contraction experienced by Transportation and Warehousing business field of -31.04 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, that experienced deepest contraction so that it grows negative is components of imports of goods and services by -2.28 percent.
