Abstract

The export value of Central Java in December 2021 was US$ 1,060.60 million, down 2.08 percent compared to exports in November 2021. However, when compared to exports in December 2020, it increased by 33.49 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in December 2021 reached US$ 1,039.53 million, a decrease of US$ 28.37 million or 2.66 percent compared to the value of non-oil and gas exports in November 2021.
  • The three largest non-oil and gas export destinations in December 2021 include the United States with a value of US$ 475.09 million, followed by Japan with US$ 87.18 million and China with US$ 51.61 million, with the contribution of the three of them amounting to 56.84 percent during January- December 2021.
  • Central Java's trade balance in December 2021 was a deficit of US$ 243.13 million. The oil and gas trade balance experienced a deficit of US$ 627.19 million, while the non-oil and gas trade balance experienced a surplus of US$ 384.06 million.
