In March 2022, Central Java experienced inflation of 0.75 percent with

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 108.58. Of the six CPI cities in Java

Central, all cities experience inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Cilacap

by 1.19 percent with a CPI of 108.26 followed by Surakarta City

by 0.93 percent with a CPI of 109.10; City of Tegal by 0.89 percent

with CPI of 109.83; Purwokerto City by 0.82 percent with CPI

of 108.78; Kudus City by 0.81 percent with a CPI of 108.07;

and the lowest inflation occurred in Semarang City at 0.66 percent with CPI

of 108.44.
