Abstract

In March 2022, the level of inequality in the expenditure of the population of Central Java as measured by the Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.374. This figure is up 0.006 points when compared to the September 2021 Gini Ratio of 0.368. Likewise, when compared to the March 2021 Gini Ratio which was 0.372, it increased by 0.002 points.

The Gini Ratio in urban areas in March 2022 was recorded at 0.404, an increase compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2021 which was 0.393 and an increase compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2021 which was 0.398.

The Gini Ratio in rural areas in March 2022 was recorded at 0.322, down when compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2021 which was 0.324 and also decreased when compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2021 which was 0.325.
