Central Java's Economic Growth in Q2-2022 Grows 5.66 Percent (Y-on-Y) or Grows 1.47 Percent (Q-to-Q)

Abstract

The economy of Central Java in the second quarter of 2022 based on GRDP at current prices (ADHB) reached IDR 385,116.23 billion and at constant prices (ADHK) 2010 reached IDR 261,401.31 billion.

In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Transportation and Warehousing business sector, which was 89.34 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest increase was recorded by the Export of Goods and Services Component (including Inter-Regional Exports), which was 10.14 percent.

Structurally, the Manufacturing Industry business sector dominated the economic structure of Central Java in the second quarter of 2022 with a contribution of 34.13 percent, while in terms of expenditure it was dominated by the Household Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-RT) with a contribution of 61.21 percent.
