Abstract

In November 2022, a combined six cities in Central Java experienced inflation of 0.15 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 112.81. Of the six CPI cities in Central Java, all cities experienced inflation.
The main cause of November 2022 inflation is the increase in the prices of air transportation, purebred chicken eggs, cooking oil, filter clove cigarettes and tomatoes. The main restraints to inflation are falling prices for red chilies, cayenne pepper, household fuels, online 2-wheeler rates and garlic.
The November 2022 calendar year inflation rate is 5.14 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (November 2022 to November 2021) is 5.81 percent.
