Producer Prices Underwent Infl ation of 0.90 Percent in Quarter IV-2022.

  The composite Producer Price Index (PPI) of the three sectors (Agriculture, Mining and Quarrying, and Manufacturing) in quarter IV-2022 rose 0.90 percent against quarter III-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 8.70 percent against quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y).

·         The PPI of the Agricultural Sector in quarter IV-2022 rose 2.50 percent against quarter III-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 5.90 percent against quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y).

·         The PPI Mining and Quarrying Sector in quarter IV-2022 decreased by 2.91 percent compared to quarter III-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 32.68 percent against quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y).

·         The PPI Manufacturing Sector in quarter IV-2022 rose 1.39 percent against quarter III-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 4.88 percent against quarter IV- 2021 (y-on-y).

·         The PPI for the Electricity and Gas Supply in quarter IV-2022 rose 0.83 percent against quarter III-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 2.52 percent against quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y). The PPI for the Water Supply in quarter IV-2022 rose 0.09 percent compared to quarter III-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 0.97 percent against quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y).

·         The PPI for the Passenger Transportation Sector in quarter IV-2022 increased by 2.96 percent against quarter III-2022 (q-to-q) and rose 20.56 percent against quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y).

·         The PPI for the Accommodation and Food Beverage Sector in quarter IV- 2022 increased by 0.28 percent and 1.96 percent compared to quarter III- 2022 (q-to-q) and quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y), respectively.

·         The PPI for the Education Services sector in quarter IV-2022 rose 0.32 percent and 3.08 percent against quarter III-2022 (q-to-q) and compared to quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y), respectively.

·         The PPI of the Health Services Sector in quarter IV-2022 rose 1.04 percent against quarter III-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 2.84 percent against quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y).
