Abstract

The Central Java Peasant Exchange Rate for February 2023 was 109.00, up 0.26 percent compared to the previous month's NTP of 108.72. The increase in FTT was caused by the increase in the price index received by farmers (It) by 0.59 percent, which was faster than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) by 0.34 percent.

The sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTP were the food crops sub-sector by 1.12 percent and the smallholder plantation sub-sector by 0.20 percent. The sub-sector that experienced a decrease in NTP was the horticulture sub-sector by -1.81 percent; the livestock sub-sector by -0.75 percent; and the fisheries sub-sector by -0.37 percent
