Abstract

  • Indonesia’s Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) at current prices in 2022 is Rp5,714.97 trillion, increasing 8.49 percent compared to 2021. 
  • The largest component of GFCF, which was Buildings and Structures, contributed 63.95 percent in 2022, followed by Machinery and Equipment (16.22 percent), Vehicles (7.38 percent), Cultivated Biological Resources (CBR) (5.74 percent), Other Equipment (4.79 percent), and Intellectual Property Products (1.92 percent). 
  • In terms of institutional contribution, the largest contributor to GFCF was the Private sector, which contributed 88.62 percent in 2022, followed by the Government sector (7.60 percent) and the State-Owned Enterprises sector (3.79 percent). The top three contributing industries 2022 are Manufacturing, Real Estate Activities, Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing. 
  • In all institutional sectors, GFCF was dominated by Buildings and Structures. In the Manufacturing and Real Estate Activities industries, the most significant contributor to GFCF in 2022 was Buildings and Structures. Meanwhile, GFCF in the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing industry was dominated by CBR.
