Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in November 2024 was 4.9 million people, down 7.45 percent compared to conditions in October 2024. The number of passengers heading overseas (international) fell 6.35 percent to 1.6 million people. On the other hand, the number of goods transported using domestic air transportation increased by 1.10 percent to 55.2 thousand tons. During January November 2024, the number of domestic passengers was 57.7 million people and the number of international passengers was 17.3 million people, an increase of 1.25 percent and 21.86 percent respectively, compared to the same period in 2023. The same thing the number of goods transported rose 7.92 percent to 600.9 thousand tons.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in November 2024 was recorded at 2.0 million people, down 6.34 percent compared to October 2024. The number of goods transported fell 3.69 percent to 32.6 million tons. During January–November 2024, the number of passengers reached 23.5 million people or an increase of 27.56 percent compared to the same period in 2023, while the number of goods transported rose 1.27 percent or reached 343.0 million tons.
The number of train passengers departing in November 2024 was 42.6 million people, down 6.39 percent compared to October 2024. Similar to the number of passengers, the number of goods transported by train decreased by 7.24 percent to 6.1 million tons. During January–November 2024, the number of passengers reached 458.8 million people, an increase of 18.62 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Likewise, the number of goods transported by trains rose 10.17 percent to 67.1 million tons.
