Abstract

In January 2025, Indonesia's National Wholesale Price Index changed by 2.11 percent compared with December 2024 (year-on-year/y-on-y). The Food Products, Beverages and Tobacco; Textiles, Apparel and Leather Products Section experienced the most significant change, increasing by 2.78 percent.
The year-on-year price change in January 2025 was mainly due to oil palms, cooking oils, filtered cigarettes with cloves, printing machines, and cacao beans.
The WPI in January 2025 increased by 0.80 percent month-to-month (m-to-m) and year-to-date (y-to-d).
The WPI Construction Materials in January 2025 changed by 0.87 percent year-on-year, partly due to the increasing prices of cement, asphalt, galvanized wire for gabion, log timber, and aluminium roof (awning).
