Abstract

In July 2023, Indonesia's National Wholesale Price Index changed by 3.56 percent compared with July 2022 (year-on-year/y-on-y). The most significant change in the index is the Mining and Quarrying Sector, which increased by 6.42 percent.
The year-on-year price change in July 2023 was contributed mainly by oil palms, garlic, paddies, sands, rice, filtered cigarettes with clove, and petrol/ gasoline.
The WPI in July 2023 changed by 0.16 percent month-to-month (m-to-m) and 1.79 percent year-to-date (y-to-d).
The WPI Construction Materials in July 2023 changed by 2.82 percent year-on-year, partly due to the increasing prices of sands, diesel fuel, stone for construction foundations, cement, and asphalt
